Shri Naga Baba Shankar Giri Ji
Shri Shankar Giri Ji is a Master of Yog and Tantra Sadhana. He is the only Naked Baba to have a Dhuni up in the freezing cold of Amarnath. Sri Shankar Giri Ji lived for years in a place where almost no one can even spend one night! Even fully clothed in warm mountain gear! He is a Baba I am quite fond of and who helped Wake me Up with a Blessing of Shiva from His Dhuni at the 1998 Hardwar Kumbh.

Shri Mahant Meera Puri Ji
Shri Mahant Meera Puri Ji in quite a Powerful and Enigmatic Personality. She is the Spiritual Head of over 2000 Female Renunciates, called Sadhvis. This is a Mayi who back quite a whallop of SHAKTI! We met Shri Narvada Puri Mata Ji in 1997 on our first trip to India when we visited Her Guru, Santosh Puri Ji and their ashram. She arrived in India in the early 70s at just 24 years old. She saw Santosh Puri Ji doing His Tapasya by His Dhuni on the Tapu in Hardwar and never left Him again, despite His strong attempts to have Her do so. She is one who really understands the Path of Guru Bhakti and Guru Seva. I thought She was much more Realized than Her Guru. He consciously left the body in 2001.

I heard he was once a judge and after fulfilling his duties, left his family and the world to lead a spiritual life on the bank of MAA Ganga in Hardwar. Shri A.B.D. Kathia Baba Ji
Shri A.B.D Kathia Baba Ji is a Vairagi Baba of the Nimbarka Sampradaya. Sacrifice, Celibacy and Dedication are the Roots of this Tradition. In this lineage, all wear a large wooden chastity belt known as a Kathia. So all these Babas are generally called Kathia Babas. Shri A.B.D Kathia Baba Ji has been practicing this Nimbarka view of Sacrifice, Brahmacharya and Devotion for 40 years now and has been wearing the belt for 36 years, making Him the longest wearer.

Shri Jagadish Giri Baba Ji is considered to be a Very Realized Soul. What a beautiful energy and potent Shakti He possesses. After spending 30 years doing strong tapasya in a cave up in Gangotri, He finally relented at the behest of his devotees who couldn't visit Him easily to come down to Hardwar. His only requirement was that it be on the banks of His Beloved MAA Ganga Ji.
Recently, He was made a bit famous via Michael Yorke's film "Holy Men and Fools" and from the India episode of BBC's "Extreme Pilgrim". We spent a few days at His Ashram in the Sapta Sarovar (Sapta Rishi) part of Hardwar and enjoyed the Satsang and helpfulness of many of His Sannyasi Disciples.
